In a pressure cooker add potatoes and water boil it for 4-5 whistles. Keep aside.
Devein,wash and clean prawns.
Marinate shrimps with 1/2 tsp chili powder , 1/2 coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/8 tsp of turmeric powder and salt. Keep it aside for 15 mins.
Heat oil in a pan, add prawns fry for 3-4 minutes and keep aside.
Splutter mustard seeds in the same pan.
Add ginger, garlic, green chilies, curry leaves and onions. Saute onions till they become translucent.
Now add chopped tomatoes in it.
Grind grated coconut with cumin powder,salt,remaining red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala .Make a fine paste with them.
Now add the coconut paste in the pan and mix it well and stir occasionally.
Now add boiled potatoes and mix it well.
Add 1 cup of water and prawns stir cook for 5 minutes.
