Eggy Bread

INGREDIENTS:
  • Bread slices - 6
  • Eggs - 2
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon (or more if desired) - 1/8 tsp
  • Butter - 1 Tbsp
METHOD:
  • In a mixing bowl mix together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Pour it into a shallow bowl.
  • Heat a large skillet or griddle. When the pan is hot add little butter.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture for 30 seconds on both sides. Let the excess batter drip off and place into the skillet.
  • Cook each slice on for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown on both sides. 
  • Repeat adding more butter to the pan if necessary until all slices have been cooked.
  • If you want , dust Eggy bread  with powdered sugar.
