Fried Chicken Drumstick Masala

INGREDIENTS:
  • Chicken drumsticks - 4
  • Lemon juice- a few drops
  • Oil - 4 Tbsp
To Marinate:
  • Ginger garlic paste- 3 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala- 1/2 tsp
  • Meat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
For masala:
  • Rice flour-1/2 tsp(optional)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Sliced onion- 1 medium
  • Tomato – 1 no
  • Chopped ginger- 1 inch piece
  • Left over chicken marinade
To garnish:
  • Chopped coriander leaves – 1 Tbsp
  • Sliced onion – 1/2

METHOD:
  • Clean and pat dry the chicken drumsticks( remove the skin) and make two or three gashes. 
  • Mix it with  all ingredients listed under To marinate and marinate the chicken for two hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350degree F.

  • Spray little oil in a baking tray  and place the marinated chicken drumsticks in the preheated oven. 
  • Allow them to cook for 20 minnutes.
  • If you want, you can deep fry in the stove top also.
  • Meanwhile heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and add sliced onion and chopped ginger in it and saute well.
  • When the onion become soft add sliced tomatoes and sauté well.
  • Now add left over chicken marinate mixture to this and mix well.
  • Add salt and sauté well.
  • Now check the Chicken Drumstick and turn the side and allow them to cook well for another 20 minutes.

  • When the chicken drumsticks cooked fully mix them with onion masala.
  • Arrange this Fried Chicken Drumstick masala on a plate, place the chicken on top. You can drizzle a few drops of lemon juice before serving.
  • You can garnish Fried Drumstick masala with sliced onion and chopped coriander leaves.
