Orange Juice

Starting your day with Orange juice is great. Fresh juices are a perfect food supplement, specially Orange juice, which is vitamin C fruit. Home made juices can be a great nutritional supplement for for almost any diet and keeping body in healthy.Orange is a good source of iron folate and a good source of vitamin A. It is also  a good source of minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorous and magnesium.Valencia oranges are known for their juiciness.  They are the best oranges for squeezing.

INGREDINETS:

METHOD:

  • Before juicing, roll each orange under your palm on a flat surface will  help to extract more juice.
  • Place each orange on its side, with the top of the orange facing either side.
  • Cut  each of them in half vertically.
  • The juice can be extracted in a variety of ways. Squeeze the oranges by hand or with a hand squeezer or using an electric squeezer.
  • Pour into glasses
  • Enjoy!orange juice (4)

NOTES:

  • An average orange will yield about ½ cup of juice.
  • To yield the most juice, an orange should be room-temperature or warmer.
  • Oranges can be heated in the microwave for 30 seconds to prepare them for better juicing.
  • Oranges can be eaten as a snack, you just remove the peel and enjoy, but always try to leave as much of the white skin on the orange as possible. The white skin contains a lot of nutrition.
