Besan flour Ribbon Pakoda

INGREDIENTS:
  • Bengal gram flour - 1 cup
  • Red chilli powder - 1/s tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 2 pinches
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep frying
METHOD:
  • In a bowl add bengal gram flour ,red chilli powder, salt, black pepper powder & asafoetida powder and mix well.
  • Now add water little by little and make into a smooth dough.
  • If you feel the mixture is sticking to your hand,grease your hand with little oil.
  • Now add this dough in a murukku presser and squeeze directly into the hot oil.
  • Deep fry till golden brown.
  • Leave to drain and cool on absorbent paper towels.
  • Store in air-tight tins when cool and enjoy!
