Besan flour Ribbon Pakoda
INGREDIENTS:
- Bengal gram flour - 1 cup
 
- Red chilli powder - 1/s tsp
 
- Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
 
- Asafoetida - 2 pinches
 
- Salt
 
- Oil for deep frying
 
METHOD:
- In a bowl add bengal gram flour ,red chilli powder, salt, black pepper powder & asafoetida powder and mix well.
 
- Now add water little by little and make into a smooth dough.
 
- If you feel the mixture is sticking to your hand,grease your hand with little oil.
 
- Now add this dough in a murukku presser and squeeze directly into  the hot oil.
 
- Deep fry till golden brown.
 
- Leave to drain and cool on absorbent paper towels.
 
- Store in air-tight tins when cool and enjoy!
