Perler Beads Photo Frame

Make your own Perler beads photo frames  in just a few steps.

Materials needed:

  • Perler beads
  • Cardstock papers
  • Scissor
  • Glue

METHOD

  • Cut out  an 8 * 8 square from a white cardstock.
  • Glue your photo on the cardstock, leave 1 or 2 inch white space in all sides ( photo size 6*6 inch)

  • Glue  two different colors of Perler beads in the 4 sides of the cardstock as shown in the picture.
  • Create 4 small same color or different colors six petal Perler bead flowers.
  • Adhere one flower on each corner of the frame using glue.
  • You can hang your Perler Beads Framed photos in your wall using adhesive strips.

  • Otherwise, place a ½-inch nail in the hole of the middle Perler Bead from the top and tap with a hammer to the nail to fix it in the wall. Be carefully to tap only the nail and not the Perler Beads.
  • If you like to place your photo in your table, Just make a frame back.
  • To make the frame back, cut a square of cardstock a little smaller than the frame. Cut a  piece of cardstock, approximately 5″ long and 3″ tall. Fold it into 3 equal parts and adhere 2 halves together using glue. Glue the other  half to the square frame.  This is the frame stand. Trim bottom of stand slightly so frame sits at a slight angle backwards.

Pistachio shell Blooms

I am sharing  something cute and easy to make for all who love pistachios.

Empty Pistachio shells are one of the natural items that can easily be recycled into something more beautiful and useful.

Materials Needed:

  • Pista Shells / Pistachio shells
  • Thick Cardboard box without lid or thick Cardboard box lid  ( Square or rectangle shape) I used a 20 X 13 X 3 inch, thick  rectangular cardboard box as a base for this craft.
  • Desired color  acrylic paints or Permanent markers. (Don't use temporary colors as they will wash out) . You can also use nail polish to color the shells.
  • Brown, green, yellow red and purple cardstock papers.
  • Butter fly paper punch (optional)
  • White or other color round beads OR Perler Beads ( for flower center)
  • Graft glue
  • Craft scissor

For making unique crafts, rinse pistachio shells clean, drain and dry. Either paint them with desired colors acrylic paint or apply glitter glue before gluing them together.
