Mango Milk Shake

Mango Shake (2)

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mango – 1, big
  • Ice cream – 4 scoop
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 3 Tbsp (Optional)

METHOD:

  • Wash the Mango well.
  • Peel and chop the Mango.
  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.
  • Pour into glasses and serve.

Chicken Patties Upma

Cicken patties Upma (2)INGREDIENTS:

  • Chicken Patties – 2 nos, chop it into bit size pieces.
  • Onion – 1, small, chopped
  • Green chillies – 2 nos, chopped
  • Tomato – 1, small, chopped
  • Egg – 1 no
  • Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Butter – 1 Tbsp

METHOD:

  • Crack the egg into a mixing bowl and beat it well for few minutes till it becomes frothy. keep it aside.
  • Heat butter in a medium pan, and place the chopped chicken patties in it and sauté well. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes in medium heat till the patties  become little bit crispy.
  • To this add chopped onion, tomato, green chilly and sauté well.
  • Now add black pepper powder and salt and mix well.
  • Add beaten egg to the pan and mix everything well.
  • Cook it for 2 more  minutes and continue mixing well.
  • Remove it from the fire.
  • Now chicken patties upma is ready to serve.
  • Serve this tasty upma hot with tomato ketch up or sweet & sour sauce. :) Cicken patties Upma (1)

Guava - Dates Milk Shake

INGREDIENTS:
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Sugar/Honey -  to taste
  • Guava  - 5 small
  • Pitted Dates - 5 nos
METHOD:
  • Wash the guavas well.
  • Peel and chop the guavas and blend in a blender with  pitted dates, sugar and very little milk.
  • When puree is smooth, add the remaining milk and whip until frothy.

  • Pour into glasses and serve.
  • Adding Ice cubes/Ice-Cream is optional.

Tomato-Capsicum Omelette

INGREDIENTS:
Eggs - 2 nos
Onion (finely chopped) - 1/2
Green bell pepper (finely chopped) - 1/4
Red  bell pepper (finely chopped) - 1/4
Tomato (chopped) - 1/2
Chopped curry leaves - 4 or 5 
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - To Taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
METHOD:
  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and beat them well for few minutes till it becomes frothy. This enables the omelet to become fluffy.
  • Add black pepper powder, red chilli powder to the egg and mix well.
  • Now add chopped onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, tomato,curry leaves and enough salt to the egg and mix well.
  • Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
  • Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with oil/butter.

  • Now pour the egg mixture to the pan and cover and cook it for few minutes till the bottom layer has turned golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the omelet to the other side, cover and allow it to cook well.
  • When both sides have attained golden brown color, the omelet fully cooked, so remove it from the heat.
  • Transfer Tomato-Capsicum Omelet to a serving plate and enjoy!

Tomato Fry

INGREDIENTS:
  • Cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Mustard seed - 1/4 tsp
  • Dry red chilies, torn into halves - 2 nos
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/8 tsp
  • Big Onion, sliced - 1 no
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Medium tomatoes, diced - 2 nos
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped corriander leaves - 2 tbsp
METHOD:
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and let splutter.
  • Now add dry red chili, ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds and onion.
  • Saute well until the onion starts getting golden brown.
  • Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and tomatoes.Saute well. 
  • Lower the flame and let fry while stirring now and then to make sure it does not stick to the bottom.
  • When tomato fries well, add salt and coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
  • Serve it hot with Appam, Chapatti, or Dosa.
