This is a kid craft or Recycled craft that you can re-use old popsicle sticks and the cardboard on the inside of a toilet paper roll (paper toilet roll tube) or inside of a ribbon roll.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Craft Sticks or Popsicle sticks or ice cream sticks ( same length)
- Cardboard roll from the inside of toilet paper (toilet roll tube) Here I used Cardboard roll from inside of a ribbon. SO no need for extra cardboard to make base.
- Craft Glue
- Decorative Scissor
- Paint Brush (optional)
- Paint (optional)
- A piece of Cardboard (Any Type)
- Cut a square piece of cardboard to make the base of the pen holder.
- Attach one end of the toilet roll tube to the cardboard square with a little glue to make base for the pen holder (to close it off). Allow it to dry.
- If you want, paint the craft sticks whatever color you like. Let them dry. You can also leave the craft sticks their natural color if you like.
- Apply glue to one side of the Popsicle stick and attach it to the toilet roll vertically; repeat until the roll is fully covered by the sticks.
- You can use Glue stick to make it more firm. It should be strong enough to hold pen and pencils.
- Leave to dry.
- You can also glue things to the outside of the Popsicle sticks if you want to give it a little flair Use as a vase for fake flowers or a pencil holder for your desk.
- You can make the square cardboard base to round shape as the size of toilet roll tube with Decorative Scissor as I did.
