Omelete  or egg omelette, is a very popular breakfast. The egg omelette is a simple dish and it can be made easy and quick. It is really very tasty, fluffy pancake made by cooking  beaten egg in a pan. We have a lots ofrecipes using cheese, vegetables and meat are fondly eaten by many people around the world.

INGREDINETS:

  • Eggs - 2
  • Onion – 4 Tbsp , finely chopped
  • Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
  • Milk - 2 tbsps
  • Capsicum - 1 tbsps, finely minced (optional)
  • Tomato – 2Tbsp, very finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder -  a pinch
  • Garam masala powder - 1/8 tsp (optional)
  • Curry leaves  - 2 tsp , finely chopped
  • Oil/Butter /Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • METHOD:

    • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and beat them well for few minutes till it becomes frothy. This enables the omelet to become fluffy.

    • Now add the rest of the ingredients except the oil and whisk well. Check for the salt.
    • Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
    • Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with oil/butter/ghee. Allow it to heat up. Once hot, reduce flame.
    • Now pour  the egg mixture to the pan, tilt the pan to spread the egg mixture and cover and cook it for few minutes till the bottom layer has turned golden brown.

    • Carefully flip the omelet to the other side, cover and allow it to cook well for about 10-12 seconds
    • When both sides have attained golden brown color, the omelet fully cooked, slide the omelette onto a plate and serve warm with buns, bread slices or Rice.
