- Tomatoes,finely chopped - 2nos
- Onion, finely chopped - 1 no
- Green Chilies, sliced - 2 nos
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/4 tsp
- Red Chili Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - a Pinch
- Cilantro, chopped - 2 tsp
- Salt - To taste
- Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Curry Leaves - 1 string
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
METHOD:
- Heat oil in a pan, add Mustard Seeds.
- When mustard seeds start spluttering, add onion, green chilies and curry leaves.
- Fry till onion turns brown, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt.
- Fry for a minute, add finely chopped tomato and red chili powder. Make sure onion is thoroughly browned before adding tomato.
- Cook covered on low flame till tomato turns soft but not completely mushy.
- Uncover, garnish with chopped cilantro and remove from heat.
