- Brown or white Aval / Beaten(flattened rice)/Rice flakes /Thin poha - 2 cups
 - Grated coconut - 3/4 - 1 cup
 - Jaggery - 4 cubes or around 1/2 cup, grated or to taste (You can replace it with sugar)
 - Cardamom powder - 1tsp
 
METHOD
- Take 2 cups of Brown or white Aval / Beaten(flattened rice)/Rice flakes /Thin poha in a large bowl.
 
- Mix the Aval with the jaggery using your fingers until it has blended well.
 
- Now mix in the coconut using your fingers until the rice flakes are soft and wet, about 5 - 6 minutes.
 - If it is dry, sprinkle 2 or 3 tbsp milk and mix well.
 - Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well.
 - Keep aside for at least 20 minutes. Serve with sliced banana.
