- Bread slices - 6
- Eggs - 2
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 2 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Cinnamon (or more if desired) - 1/8 tsp
- Butter - 1 Tbsp
METHOD:
- In a mixing bowl mix together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.
- Pour it into a shallow bowl.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle. When the pan is hot add little butter.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture for 30 seconds on both sides. Let the excess batter drip off and place into the skillet.
- Cook each slice on for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
- Repeat adding more butter to the pan if necessary until all slices have been cooked.
- If you want , dust Eggy bread with powdered sugar.
