INGREDIENTS:
- Lettuce - 1bunch
- Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
- Urad dal -1/4 tsp
- Channa dal -1/4 tsp
- Onion (chopped)- 1 no
- Green chillies (sliced)-1 or 2 (according to taste)
- Salt- to taste
- Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut-1 tbsp(optional)
- Wash and chop lettuce.
- Heat oil in pan and season with mustard, urad dal and channa dal.
- Add chopped onion, garlic paste, green chilli and salt and saute well.
- Add chopped lettuce, coconut and saute just for a minute or two.(do not cook more as it will get soggy and wont have crunchy taste.)
- You can serve Lettuce Thoran with rice item as side dish.
