Milk Chocolate spread Bread

INGREDIENTS:

FOR DOUGH:

  • All purpose flour – 2 cups
  • Yeast – 1 tsp
  • Milk – 3/4 cup
  • Egg – 1
  • Sugar – 1 0 gm
  • Salt – 2 gm
  • Unsalted butter – 2 Tbsp
  • Milk Chocolate – 1 or 2 tsp

FOR EGG WASH:

  • Egg - 1
  • Milk- 2 Tbsp

Beat egg and milk together and keep it aside.

METHOD:

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 2 cups of flour in it.
  • Add 2 tsp of yeast to the flour and mix well

  • Add the egg to this and mix well.

  • Now add Salt and sugar to the flour and mix well.
  • Then pour 3/4 cup of milk little by little to the flour mixture and make a dough.
  • Knead the dough for 10 minutes and finally add 2 tbsp of butter.
  • After you add the butter, knead the dough for another 10 minutes or until it becomes smooth.

  • Cover the dough with a tea towel and leave it for about an hour to get it rise up.

  • Flatten the dough once it has risen.

  • Then slice one side of the dough as shown below.

  • Now spread the milk chocolate on the flatten surface of the dough. You can add as little or as much as you want.
  • The dough might be sticky, so flour the work surface and the rolling pin, checking to be sure the dough isn't stuck to the work surface and adding more flour as necessary.

  • Now carefully roll the dough. Start at the right-hand corner of the edge closest to you. Mean fold the dough over on the side with milk chocolate spread.

  • Then place the threads on the cut side over the folded piece.
  • You can change the shape of the dough if you want to make more eye-pleasing.
  • Now cover the dough with a tea towel and let it sit for 30 minutes or until it gets twice as large in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 350degree F.

  • Once it is done rising, place the dough in a greased baking tray.
  • Now take your egg wash and using your brush paint on top of the dough.

  • Bake the bread dough in the preheated 375 degrees F  oven for 15- 20 minutes.

  • Enjoy your Milk Chocolate Spread Bread with Hot Tea or Coffee.
