INGREDIENTS:
- All purpose flour – 1 +3/4 cup
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Sugar – 2 Tbsp
- Heavy whipping Cream – 2/3 cup/158 ml
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
- Grease a baking sheet lightly and evenly with butter or oil and keep it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl,mix all ingredients together until dough forms a ball. While mixing, apply little oil in your hand to prevent sticking dough in your hand.
- Turn out the dough onto lightly floured surface and knead 5 to 8 times.
- Roll out the dough to half inch thickness and cut biscuit shape with a 3 inch cutter.
- Place each of them 2” apart on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake them for 20 minutes or or until the tops of the biscuits look set and are just starting to turn golden brown.
- Let the Whipping Cream Biscuits cool on the baking sheet for 2 or 3 minutes until they can be transferred easy to racks. If you want , you can brush top of each biscuits with butter.
- Serve Homemade Whipping Cream Biscuits with Tea or Coffee.
