Everyday Cocoa Powder Tea Cake

This  soft and tasty  prepare Cocoa Powder Cake is  quick and easy  to make. It's simply delicious.

INGREDIENTS:

  • All purpose flour – 1 and 1/3 cups
  • Unsweetened Cocoa powder – 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp
  • Unsalted butter, softened – 1 Tbsp
  • Brown sugar or white Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Egg – 1 no
  • Water – 1 cup ( you can use milk instead of water)

METHOD:

  • Grease an 8 x 2 Inch  heart shaped baking pan  with some butter or oil  and  lightly flour it.
  • Preheat oven in 375 degree F.
  • In a large bowl sift together all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Keep it aside.
  • In an electric mixer, beat butter on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
  • Add sugar and vanilla essence in it and beat until mix everything well.
  • Now add egg and  beat well.
  • Now add cocoa powder and mix well.
  • Add flour-baking powder mixture to the electric mixer and mix everything well.
  • Add milk or water alternately to the beaten mixture , beat on low speed until everything well combined.
  • Pour cake batter to greased pan.
  • Bake it  in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and a tooth pick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove your tasty chocolate cake  from the Oven.
  • Allow the cake cool completely ( 20 minutes) before cutting and serving.
  • If you want ,decorate the Cocoa Powder Tea Cake with frosting and icing and Enjoy!!!
