Spinach Celery Banana Milkshake (5)

INGREDINETS:

  1. Spinach – 1 cups
  2. Ripe  Jamaican banana – 1 no
  3. Celery stalk – 1 no
  4. Oats – 1 cup
  5. Fat free Milk – 1 and 1/2  cup
  6. Yogurt – 2 Tbsp
  7. Peanut Butter – 1 tsp (optional)
  8. Cardamom Powder – 1 pinch
  9. Sunflower Seeds – 5 nos (optional)
  10. Honey – 1 or 2 Tbsp
  11. Water – 1 cup

METHOD:

  • To clean spinach, swish in a basin of cold water, let  it sit for a minute, and then lift into a colander to drain. Dump the water and repeat. After doing this, taste a leaf. If you detect even the slightest bit of grit, wash the leaves again.
  • If you want, you can boil the milk and allow it to cool.
  • If you want, you can cook oats by adding 2 cups of water in a small pot for a minute or two, stirring often until it becomes thick and bubbly.
  • Remove from heat and allow them it to cool.
  • Now place all the 1 to 11  ingredients in a blender /juicer and blend on high until creamy and smooth.
  • Chill in refrigerator or pour into glasses and enjoy.
